Two Lakes Area Teams win their opening round Class 4 District games Monday night with more action to come.
In games heard on MOARK Sports, the Reeds Spring Lady Wolves rolled in their opening round game, cruising by Buffalo 55-20 while the Hollister Lady Tigers pulled an upset as the knocked off the tournament's third seed Ava 37-30. The Lady Tigers built a 15 point lead in the second half then held off a Lady Bears rally to secure the win. Both teams will play in the semi-finals on Wednesday, the Lady Wolves against top seeded Rogersville and the Lady Tigers against second seeded and host Mountain Grove.
On MOARK Sports tonight, the Blue Eye Bulldogs will play in Joplin in the Class 2 State Sectional against College Heights. That game can be heard on the Blue Eye Channel at MOARK Sports through Perry Phillips Sports. Tip-off is at 6:30.
Meanwhile, coverage of the Reeds Spring and Hollister Boys opening round games at the Class 4 District in Rogersville will be heard on the Branson MOARK Channel this evening as the Wolves take on Ava and the Tigers challenge Clever. The Reeds Spring-Ava game tips-off at 6:00 with the Hollister-Clever game to follow.
