The final day of the Sparta Lady Trojan Basketball Classic featured four MOARK Schools playing for trophies.
Blue Eye, Forsyth, Hollister, and Reeds Spring joined host Sparta and nearby Chadwick in the field of teams.
1st Place: Chadwick 52 Reeds Spring 24
The Lady Wolves run to the championship ran into the pressure of the Lady Cardinal Defense which held Reeds Spring to only two second quarter points on their way to the win. Tournament MVP Emily Landry led Chadwick with 20 points while Kylie Fitzwater knocked down 10 points for Reeds Spring.
3rd Place: Blue Eye 47 Sparta 37
The Lady Bulldogs led most of the way against the host Lady Trojans though Sparta made a third quarter run to grab the lead temporarily, but Blue Eye answered quickly and went on to the win behind the 17 points of Kaylee Wilson and he 15 of Kinzie Garrison.
5th Place: Forsyth 65 Hollister 52
While the Lady Tigers Kayla Hamilton kept her team in it scoring a game high 26 points, the Lady Panthers led most of the way including a 16-0 run to end the third quarter to help secure the win. Callie Oldenburg led three Lady Panthers in double figures with 17 points.
