While High School Basketball and most other activities are shutdown for the next couple of days due to Winter Storm Kingston, some games were played Monday night.
Two games were covered by MOARK Sports:
In Branson, the Lady Pirates broke a three-game losing streak by pulling away from Bolivar 66-37 while in Fair Grove, the Eagles got a second straight victory over a Lakes Region team, defeating Reeds Spring 64-38 in boy’s action. The Eagles defeated Forsyth in a one point game last Friday.
In other games, Forsyth did rebound from that loss to Fair Grove knocking off Hollister 84-48 in a game moved from today to Monday because of weather. Also on Monday, the Forsyth Girls picked up a one-point win over Mansfield 49-48. All games scheduled for today have been postponed due to the winter storm.
Harrison Goblins Off, Return to Action Friday
The Harrison Goblins get a break thanks to the fortune of already having an off day scheduled from 5A West Conference play. The Goblins and Lady Goblins are next scheduled to play Friday at Goblin Arena against Van Buren. The two remaining games after that are next week, Tuesday at Siloam Springs and Friday at home against Russellville. The Goblins can clinch the top spot in the 5A West standings with wins in all of those games.
The games can be heard on MOARK Sports Dot Com and on 94.9 KHOZ.
