Bombers Drop Goblins At Buzzer, Other Tuesday MOARK Basketball Games

Three of four games covered by MOARK Sports on Tuesday matched up area rivals with one coming down to the final second.

Mountain Home at Harrison
The second match-up of the longtime rivals saw the Bombers looking for a sweep over their Boone County counterparts. While the Lady Bombers rolled to a 57-32 win, the boys game was a tight contest that went to overtime. The Goblins looked to get the overtime win as Ryder Scribner hit a jumper with three seconds left to give the Goblins a two-point lead only to be outdone by Bomber McGee Harris, who hit a half-court shot at the buzzer to sink the Goblins 54-53. Scribner led the Goblins with 20 points. The wins give the Bombers the season sweep over the Goblins in their conference contests.

Branson at Ozark
One night after the Lady Pirates held off the Lady Tigers in overtime, the boys teams played in their final Central Ozark Conference contest with the contest looking like it was heading to a similar close ending. Ozark held a three point lead going to the fourth quarter, but then the Tigers pulled away to a comfortable 65-42 win, avenging a loss to the Pirates back in December at the Blue and Gold Tournament.

Skyline at Forsyth
In other action, the Panthers hosted the Skyline Tigers for their final game as Mid-Lakes Conference opponents and the Panthers built up a 17 point lead in the second quarter before the Tigers ended the half on a 15-2 run to close the gap to four. Skyline got the lead all the way down to one before Forsyth was able to pull away for the 74-62 win behind the 30 points of Chris Halbrook.

Tonight on MOARK, a doubleheader as the Hollister Girls and Boys play host to Mount Vernon with the girls game to start around 6:00 and the boys to follow.
