C of O Update: Baseball Finishes Second in Regional, Larimore Wins Pole Vault Championship

The College of the Ozarks Bobcats take second place in the NCCAA Baseball Regional while also getting top finishes in the NCCAA National Track Meet.

The second seeded Baseball Bobcats had to do it the hard way, losing on opening day of the Independent Regional Tournament they hosted but then made their way back through the losers bracket to get to the Championship Game against top seed Baptist Bible College, but eventually dropped a 4-3 decision to the Patriots. After trailing most of the game, the Bobcats scored two in the top of the ninth to take the lead, only to see BBC answer with two in the bottom of the ninth to win it.

BBC wins the automatic bid to the NCCAA World Series in Kansas City while the 42-18 C of O Bobcats will await to see if they earn an At-Large Bid to the tournament.

Meanwhile in Columbia, South Carolina, athletes from C of O competed in the NCCAA National Track and Field Championship. Bobcat Chase Larimore takes home the title in the Men's Pole Vault. Other finishers for the Bobcats listed below from C of O Sports Information:
