Blue Eye's Basketball teams are playing for District Championships while other MOARK Teams are wrapping up their regular seasons.
The Blue Eye Boys 62-52 win over Purdy on Wednesday along with the Girls win over Crane 50-44 Thursday in Class 2 District Semi-finals have them set for Championship Games over the next two days. The Boys will play Crane at Purdy this evening at 6:00 while the Girls will host Marionville in their title game Saturday at 2:00.
In regular season finales, the Branson Boys gained an overtime win over Bolivar 72-70 which was heard on MOARK Sports. The win earned Branson their first winning season in nine years and also clinched at the least a tie for second in their first Ozark Mountain Conference Season behind champion Rogersville. A Rogersville win tonight over Hillcrest would give the Pirates second outright. Hillcrest knocked off another Lakes Area School, Forsyth, 83-50 in the Panthers regular season finale.
The Forsyth Lady Panthers also played last night, losing at Bolivar 57-24. Forsyth closes their regular season on Saturday.
The schedule on MOARK Sports today and Saturday includes the regular season finales for the Harrison Teams as well as Forsyth plus District title games:
