One of the events moved was the Central Ozark Conference Track Meet. The competition in Ozark Wednesday saw Neosho take the Boys Title while the Girls COC Championship went to Republic.
Branson finished sixth in the boys and ninth in girls meets.
The Pirates claimed one first place finish from Chris Vineyard who won the Boys 300 Meter Hurdles. Vineyard also grabbed a second place finish in the 110 Hurdles. Kyshin Isringhausen also finished second in the Pole Vault with Adrian Manderson finishing second in the Triple Jump with Lady Pirate Allison Thomas also taking second in the Javelin.
In Joplin, the COC Tennis Championships took place with Branson and Willard took home the most medals. For the Pirates, they claimed first in the No. 2 Singles and Doubles competitions with Ben Merrifield and the duo of Josh Brown and Zach Zander. Branson's Nathan Bartram also took home second place in the No. 1 Singles competition. with the duo of Jack Dawson and Preston Volz taking third in No. 1 Doubles.
Coming up today on MOARK Sports weather permitting, a pair of baseball match-ups with Joplin playing at Branson and Reeds Spring traveling to Willow Springs.
