MOARK Sports Update May 2

Today's MOARK Sports update includes a recap of a road win for Forsyth Softball and today's games on MOARK Sports.

The Forsyth Lady Panthers faced-off against Springfield Catholic for the first of two games this week with the later match-up being in the District Tournament Friday in Forsyth. Monday's match-up at Meador Park in Springfield saw each team squander scoring opportunities before the Lady Panthers took advantage of a pair of Lady Irish errors to grab a 2-0 lead in the third. The Lady Irish got one in the bottom of the inning to make it 2-1 before Forsyth scored five in the sixth, the big hits being a Kloe Hendrickson triple and a Savannah Koen home run. 

The Irish answered with two in the sixth and after another Forsyth run in the seventh, loaded the bases with no one out in the bottom of the seventh scoring a run before Hendrickson came in to get the final three outs. Lindsey Essary pitched the first six innings holding the Catholic to one run.

Forsyth closes out the regular season with a 5:30 game at home today against Marionville. 

Recap of other action
In another match-up that will also occurred at this week's District Softball Tournament, Strafford knocked off the Hollister Lady Tigers 18-3. 

In baseball action, Forsyth celebrated Senior Day with an 8-1 home win over Ava. The Panthers hit the road today to take on Galena, 

In Harrison, the Goblins lost their home finale 15-8 to Morrilton. The Goblins wrap-up their season today at Siloam Springs.

Today on MOARK Sports
The Harrison Lady Goblins Softball team will also be in Siloam Springs today for the final regular season game. The Lady Goblins will be going for win number 20 on the season prior to next week's 5A State Tournament. 

A pair of Branson-Willard match-ups will also be highlighted on MOARK. The Branson at Willard Baseball match-up at 4:30 can be heard on the Branson Channel at MOARK Sports while the Willard at Branson Soccer match can be heard on the Perry Phillips Sports Website.

The Harrison Soccer teams are heading to Russellville today for a pair of 5A West matches with the Girls at 5:00 and the Boys to follow.
