MOARK Thursday Coverage features Wins for Forsyth, Hollister

Games covered on MOARK Sports Thursday included wins for both Forsyth and Hollister.

For the Panthers, they pick up a District and Mid-Lakes Conference win over Fair Grove 3-2 at Collier Field. University of Kentucky signee Tristan Hunter scattered six hits and struck out seven over six innings while being observed by nearly a dozen major league scouts. Hunter did not factor in the decision, as Bryce Nolan pitched the seventh, then lead off the bottom of the inning with a single with the game tied at 2 and eventually scored the winning run on a bases loaded walk. The Eagles intentionally walked Hunter to load the bases before issuing the game winning walk to Braxton Gross. Forsyth goes to 9-1 for the season. While the Panthers play games in Hollister and Branson today in classics, the Eagles will head to Arkansas to match-up with the Harrison Goblins this afternoon.

Meanwhile in Hollister, the Tigers notched their first win of the season as they grabbed an 8-3 win over McDonald County.

In other action, the Branson Pirates pick up their first win over the Nixa Eagles in seven years, as they grab a 4-2 win in Nixa in their final meeting as Central Ozark Conference members. The win also avenges a 5-4 loss to the Eagles in Branson two weeks ago.
