Return to the Courts: Basketball Resumes After Winter Weather

Several schools returned to action on Wednesday after a break of almost a week from competition due to winter weather.

For the second Wednesday in a row, the Forsyth Panthers played a weather make-up game on Wednesday. This week, it was their second meeting of the year with Lakes Area rival Hollister and like the first meeting back in November at the Forsyth Tournament, the host Panthers pulled away from the Tigers grabbing a 74-42 win in a game heard on MOARK Sports.

Also on MOARK Sports Wednesday, another Lakes Area match-up took place, this one in a tournament as Blue Eye edged Reeds Spring 46-43 in the opening round of the Spokane Tournament.

Coverage will continue this week on the Blue Eye and Reeds Spring Channels on MOARK Sports of the Spokane Tournament with bonus coverage as possible of the Galena Girls Tournament.

The next Forsyth Game on MOARK Sports will be Friday as the boys host Neosho while Harrison Basketball returns Friday as well as the Lady Goblins and Goblins travel to Van Buren.

Coverage of Branson Basketball resumes next week with the Pirates Game Tuesday at Parkview and the Lady Pirates home game Thursday against Parkview.
