Tuesday Basketball Recap: Branson Splits, Harrison Swept in Conference Contests

The four games heard on MOARK Sports saw the area teams win one of four.

The win came for the Branson Lady Pirates in their half of the home doubleheader against Carthage as they posted a 62-35 win. Taylor Foster led three in double figures with 16 points as the Lady Pirates won their fourth game in their last five outings. 

The losses were close ones in all three of the other games including the boys half of the doubleheader with Carthage, as the Pirates kept fighting back and never could get over the hump as the Tigers made key stops in the final two minutes to earn a 61-53 win over the Pirates. 

For the Harrison teams at Greenbrier, the losses were even closer games as the Lady Goblins fell 49-47 and the Goblins dropped a 44-41 decision to the Panthers. 

One game will be featured tonight on MOARK Sports as the Reeds Spring Lady Wolves host Nevada in a make-up contest from Monday.
