While some area games were postponed again due to Monday's icy road conditions, several schools did get back on the court on Tuesday.
Games on MOARK Sports:
Parkview 59 Branson 38
The Pirates, playing for only the second time since their fourth place finish in December's Blue and Gold Tournament, could not keep up with the fast paced Vikings, playing their home game at Central High School due to work on their gym floor. The Pirates held close only trailing by five at half, but could not slow down the Vikings in the second half being outscored 31-16. Jayce Culver led the Pirates with 14 points as they fall to 7-7 on the year. The Pirates, with weather causing a huge gap in their schedule, will now hit the court several times over the next week and a half starting with the Bolivar Tournament Thursday through Saturday. The Pirates opening round game on Thursday will be against Strafford.
