Basketball Games covered on MOARK Sports Friday night were all close games including one buzzer beater.
That game happened in Harrison as the Goblins closed out their regular season by hitting a three at the buzzer in a 57-54 win over Huntsville. The Lady Goblins also won their regular season finale by downing Huntsville 53-43.
Meanwhile in Missouri, the Branson Pirates nearly rallied from a late nine point deficit but still fell short, lost at Neosho 65-60. The Pirates furious late rally cut the lead to one in the games final minute but the Wildcats ran the clock down and got a basket with 20 seconds to go followed by a Pirate turnover after Branson called a timeout to set-up a game tying play which eventually resulted in another Neosho basket to account for the final margin.
Also on the road last night, the Hollister Tigers fell short in their game at Marshfield, falling to the Blue Jays 48-44.
Today on MOARK Sports, the Branson Lady Pirates have a 2:00 game against Top 10 Ranked Class 1 School Walnut Grove. The game was added to the schedule after a couple of cancellations by opponents of both schools lead to the open date.
