As the start of school takes place over the next two weeks throughout the Lakes Region, several High Schools will see new coaches leading their teams.

One of the first noticeable changes will take place in the Hollister Football Program as Mike Johnson takes the helm from Rich Adkins, who left to assume the Athletic Directors position at Seneca. Johnson joined the District in 2020 as a Middle School Teacher and led the Hollister Middle School Basketball and Football Programs while assisting with the Varsity Program. Johnson had previously coach and taught in Colorado.

Hollister had several other changes in their Athletic Department including in leadership as longtime High School and College Basketball Coach Nyla Milleson takes over for the retired John Burgi as Athletic Director. Other New Coaches include Jeff Dishman in Girls Basketball and Rebekah Glenn in Softball.

Some other new head coaches at area high schools include:

Branson: Kirk Harryman Baseball
Forsyth: Jeff Walls Athletic Director, Kevin Smith Boys Basketball
Harrison: Stacy Klott Girls Basketball
Reeds Spring: Jason Reinsch, Baseball, Addison Berry, Volleyball
