High School Basketball Postseason Gets Underway

Area teams in Arkansas and Missouri have High School Postseason play getting underway soon.

Many Arkansas schools will begin Conference Tournament Play this week including Harrison, who will play in the 4A-1 Tournament at Pea Ridge. The Lady Goblins earned one of the top seeds and will not play until the semi-finals Friday while the Goblins are a three seed and play their opening game Tuesday against Prairie Grove. Berryville is also in that tournament with the Boys earning one of the top seeds getting a bye into Friday's semi-final while the Girls are a four seed and open play Monday against Prairie Grove. 

All other 1A through 4A Schools will be playing in Conference Tournaments this week. 

Meanwhile, Class 1-3 District Tournaments in Missouri will get underway next Saturday. Both the Blue Eye Boys and Girls are top seeds in the Class 2 Tournament at Billings with Bradleyville, Crane, and Galena among the schools in the field. 

The Class 4-6 Schools will start District Tournament Play Saturday February 26. Branson Boys are the sixth seed, the Girls the Fifth seed in the Class 5 District Tournament at Marshfield. The Pirates play West Plains, the Lady Pirates Marshfield in their opening games. 

Forsyth, Hollister, and Reeds Spring will all play in the Class 4 District at Mountain Grove with seeds and schedules to be released later this week.
