Reeds Spring Clinches Share of Conference Title, Other Friday Football

For the second week in a row, a Lakes Area High School Football team clinches a conference title.

This week, the Reeds Spring Wolves clinch a tie for the Big 8 East Conference Title with a 28-14 home win over Rogersville. The Wolves jumped out to a 14-0 lead then held on to claim the win. The Wolves can win the outright title next week with a win at Mt Vernon in the regular season finale.

The Forsyth Panthers, who last week clinched the Mid-Lakes Conference Championship, had a tough road trip to Butler and lost 62-36.

Meanwhile, the Branson Pirates had a tough home finale as they lost to Ozark 28-7. The Pirates again had some issues with turnovers as a pair of drives where stopped with turnovers that the Tigers took advantage of to help secure the win.

In Harrison, the Goblins rebounded after losing two straight games to gain a 63-27 home win over Alma. The Goblins offense kept the pressure on, scoring 14 points in each of the first three quarters to pull away for the win.
