The host team makes the most of their opportunity and finishes off a run to the Cal Ripken World Series Title.

The local team finished off their run with two wins on Saturday, claiming a 1-0 win over North Carolina in the U.S. Team Championship in a game delayed from Friday due to rain, then rolled to an 8-1 win over Puerto Rico to claim the Major 70 World Series.

Branson made quick work of the International Bracket winners scoring five runs in the first two innings to put the game out of reach and claim the championship.

The U.S. claimed the third place game as well as North Carolina defeated Mexico 6-0 in the consolation game.
