The High School Football night for several schools took an interesting turn Friday with several games being delayed or in one case, postponed.
The match-up in Hollister between the Tigers and Aurora was postponed until Sunday due to the heavy rain. The match-up, which is also Hollister's Homecoming Game, will determine the inside track to a District Championship.
Another game that was delayed over an hour was the Homecoming Game in Forsyth between the Panthers and Stockton. Once the game got underway, it was a back and forth affair that saw the Panthers capitalize on three Tiger turnovers to prevail 30-22.
Meanwhile, no such delays for the other area MOARK Sports teams.
One week after blowing a big lead in a game, the Harrison Goblins did not let that happen again as they closed the deal against the Alma Airedales 42-21.
Despite equaling their opponents in several statistical categories, the Branson Pirates continue to struggle to score points on the road as they are shutout by the Webb City Cardinals 38-0. The Pirates have yet to score on offensive touchdown in three road games this year.
Also Friday night, the Reeds Spring Wolves lose their second straight game dropping a 50-28 decision at Marshfield.
