Forsyth Baseball Players Earn All-State Honors

This season's District Championship for the Forsyth Baseball Panthers has led to a trio of players receiving All-State recognition.

The Missouri High School Baseball Coaches Association list of Class 3 All-State Players includes a First Team selection for Junior Pitcher Tristen Hunter. 

Hunter finished the season with a 7-2 record and a 1.26 ERA while also finishing with a ,363 batting average at the plate. 

In addition, two of Hunter's teammates also received All-State honors. Aaron Gross was named Honorable Mention Pitcher while younger brother Braxton Gross received Second Team honors on the Infield. 

In addition to All-State, Forsyth Baseball received several All-Conference and All-District Honors.

In the Mid-Lakes Conference, all three players received First Team honors along with Pitcher Mason Campbell. Zach Strahan was named Second Team with Ayden Cleveringa and Tyler Strahan being named Honorable Mention. Byron Richardson was named Mid-Lakes Conference Coach of the Year. 

Both Aaron and Braxton Gross along with Campbell and Hunter were also named First Team All-District with Zack Strahan earning Second Team Honors.
