Hollister secures two places in a recent band competition.
The Hollister High School Winter Winds Band placed 2nd in Winds Scholastic A at their first competition of the season on Saturday at Missouri State University.
The HHS Winter Guard placed 4th in Scholastic AA.
Both groups will travel to O'Fallon Township High School on March 16.
