Blue Eye Falls in State Semi-finals, Plays for Third Saturday

The Blue Eye Lady Bulldogs are not able to hold off their hot shooting of their opponent while trying to get their offense on track and lost in the Class 2 State Basketball Semi-finals.

The Lady Bulldogs fall to Wellington-Napoleon 66-47 in the contest at Missouri State's JQH Arena. The Lady Bulldogs could only muster 20% shooting from the field and from three-point range in the first half and finished in the same range for the game while the Lady Tigers shot around 40% which included 57% from the arc in the second half to secure the win. 

Avery Arnold led Blue Eye with 15 points while Kyla Warren added 14 with the Lady Bulldogs finishing the season on Saturday in the third-place game against St. Paul Lutheran from Concordia. The game will be at Missouri State's Hammons Student Center at 10:00 am and can be heard live on MOARK Sports Dot Com.
