While the Blue Eye Lady Bulldogs were no doubt frustrated that the couldn't get into the Class 2 State Championship Game, the senior group put an exclamation mark on their high school careers.

The Lady Bulldogs won the Class 2 Third Place Game convincingly over the St. Paul Lutheran Saints 57-19 as Blue Eye used a smothering defense to set-up the offense which came alive in the second half to turn on the turbo clock in the fourth quarter.  Three Blue Eye Seniors led the scoring with Riley Arnold getting 17 points, with Gracyn Fairchild and Avery Arnold adding 12 points each.

The Lady Bulldogs finish their season 27-6 and after tying for third place in 2020 (no game played due to the COVID-19 Pandemic), win third outright two years in a row.
