Several Wrestlers from the Lakes Region will be heading to the State Tournament later this week.
In Boys Districts that happened over the weekend, a pair of wrestlers claimed District Titles.
Branson's TJ Storment grabbed a District Title in Class 3 District Tournament in Webb City. Storment took home the title in the 150 Pound Weight Class. One of the state's top wrestlers got knocked off in their title match as Kyshin Isringhausen lost for the first time this season being upended by Blaine Ortiz of McDonald County in sudden victory. Branson also qualified Alejandro Berumen at 190 and Cade Grim at 215.
Meanwhile in Monett, Reeds Spring's Eben Crain took home the District Title in Class 2 at 285 while teammate Shane Pearson also qualified finishing in the top four at 113.
Also qualifying in Class 2 was Bryson Whitman of Hollister at 132.
These wrestlers will join several that qualified the previous weekend for the Girls State Championships also coming up this weekend.
