The Lady Panthers go to 7-2 on the year with a 13-1 win over Hollister. Landry Stuart and Emmalea Cook each had three RBIs, and Lindsey Essary struck out seven in the Forsyth win. Forsyth takes on another Lakes Area team as they travel to Blue Eye this afternoon in a game that can also be heard on MOARK Sports Dot Com.
Meanwhile, the Branson Pirates had their game with Catholic moved to Pirate Park due to field conditions in Springfield, the change of location did not help the home team as the Irish broke a 3-3 tie with a three run seventh, then held off a Pirate seventh inning rally to win 6-5. The loss is the second in a row for Branson after winning their first seven games. The Pirates will open COC play Thursday at home against Willard in a game that can also be heard at MOARK Sports Dot Com.
