MOARK Spotlight: Missouri Postseason Tennis

Postseason Tennis in both individual and team competitions is underway.

The Doubles Team of Kenzie Calhoun and Emmy Blevins from Forsyth claims a Class 1 District Title with a victory in the finals last week. The duo will play in the upcoming Class 1 Sectional in Kansas City.

Meanwhile, the Lady Panther team will take on Clever this afternoon in the semi-finals of the Class 1 Team District Tournament. The Lady Panthers are the Number Two Seed in the Tournament hosted by top seeded Rogersville. Rogersville will play Greenwood in today's other semi-final after the Lady Blue Jays knocked off Reeds Spring in the first round on Monday.

Meanwhile in Class 2, Branson won their opening match of the District Tournament at home beating Parkview in a shutout. The third seeded Lady Pirates will next take on second seed Carl Junction in the semi-finals this afternoon at the Cooper Tennis Complex in Springfield. 

The finals of both tournaments will be on Wednesday.
