MOARK Thursday: Hollister Wins First of Two Straight Lakes Area Games, Branson Falls at Home

Action on MOARK Sports Thursday included a the first of two Lakes Area High School Baseball match-ups for the Hollister Tigers.

The Tigers came out on the winning end of the home match-up with Reeds Spring 7-1. The Tigers play another lakes area game today as they make the short trip to Forsyth to play the Panthers. This afternoon's game can also be heard on MOARK Sports Dot Com. 

Meanwhile in Branson, Webb City avenges an earlier loss to the Pirates as the Cardinals win a back and forth contest 5-3. After scoring a first inning run, the Cardinals as well as the Pirates missed some scoring opportunities until the fifth, when the Pirates finally got on track with three runs, two coming on a Carter Jenkins home run. But Webb City scored two runs each in the final two innings to get the win.  The Pirates play a three game set in Arkansas, at Bentonville West today, then at Bentonville and Rogers on Saturday. The next game on MOARK Sports will be the Pirates Monday Home Game against Glendale.
