MSHSAA Releases Football Districts, Branson Shifts East

On this opening night of the High School Football Season, the Missouri State High School Activities Association releases Postseason District Football Assignments.

The biggest change goes to Branson, who is remaining in Class 5 but will now be matched-up with teams North and East of the school including Springfield Schools Central and Glendale, along with Camdenton, Lebanon, Rolla, and Waynesville. Central Ozark Conference Schools Joplin, Nixa, and Ozark are all in Class 6 while all other COC Schools will join Springfield Parkview in a Class 5 District. 

For other Lakes Area Schools, Hollister and Reeds Spring remain together in a Class 3 District joined by Aurora, Buffalo, Cassville, Mountain Grove, and Seneca while Forsyth remains in Class 2 paired up with Ava, Houston, Mtn.View/Liberty, Springfield Catholic, Strafford, and Willow Springs. 

District Standings after nine weeks will determine the first round District Opponents for Week 10 of the Regular Season.
