The Branson Pirates huge fourth quarter rally falls just short as Springfield Glendale takes an overtime win in High School Basketball action Tuesday.

The Pirates fell behind the visiting Falcons 17 points after a three at the end of the third quarter gave Glendale their biggest lead of the night. Branson was able to frustrate their opponent defensively in the fourth quarter and converted those stops into points, outscoring the Falcons 25-8 to get the game tied.

Glendale surged ahead twice in overtime but each time Branson made another run and almost tied the game again, but a desperation three point attempt by the Pirates at the buzzer fell short, and the Falcons escape with an 81-78 win.

Ethan Jones led three Pirates in double figures with 29 points while the Falcons Grant Givens poured in 37 points to lead all scorers.

Elsewhere in games covered by MOARK Sports Tuesday night, Hollister defeats Fair Grove 67-59 while Harrison split games with Gentry. The Goblins took the boys contest 59-51 while Gentry prevailed in the girls game 45-39.
