Reeds Spring State Championship Football Game

The Reeds Spring Wolves final hurdle to a Class 3 Football State Championship is the top ranked team in the state.

Cardinal Ritter out of St. Louis is undefeated entering today's title game at the University of Missouri-Columbia's Faurot Field. Both teams have used a consistent offensive attack and strong defense to get to the title game. According to statistics released by the Missouri State High School Activities Association, the Wolves have averaged around 32 points per game while allowing nearly 18. The Lions meanwhile have been even better in those categories as they have averaged around 44 and given up only 8 points per game.

The Wolves will try to get a split for the Big 8 Conference in Columbia as Lamar lost a 32-28 decision to Blair Oaks in the Class 2 Championship on Friday.
