State Track Competition: Branson's Conway Claims Individual Championship, Other Results

A Branson Track Athlete takes home an Individual State Championship during the State Meets in Jefferson City.

Pirate Senior Colsen Conway takes home the Class 5 State Championship in the Boys 100 Meter High Hurdles with a time of 14.54 finishing about a tenth of a second ahead of the runner-up. 

Other Branson top eight finishers at the Class 5 Championships include Kyshin Isringhausen who took seventh in the Boys Pole Vault while Cali Essick finishes in the top eight in two events in the Girls Class 5 Championships taking fifth in the Triple Jump and sixth in the Long Jump.

Other area athletes were also in Jefferson City taking part in the Class 3 Track and Field Championships. Hollister's Makynzie Burns scored the Lady Tigers top finish taking third in the 100 Meter Hurdles. On the boys side, Hollister's Tristen Parker finishes sixth in the 200 Meter Dash and seventh in the 400 Meter Dash.
